un fel de "little miss sunshine" meets "me and you and everyone we know" invaluit in dragalasenia cinica a unei adolescente insarcinate. si, peste toate, inseamna si ca the moldy peaches, care detin cam jumatate din soundtrack (nu cred ca se putea o varianta mai buna), isi castiga acum notorietatea pe care trebuiau sa o obtina de la bun inceput, de cand erau in turneu tinand trena celor de la the strokes. si ca, datorita succesului filmului, ehe, s-ar putea reuni. piesa cea mai persicoasa o puteti culege din pomul asta.
random thought#1: juno e de fapt antiteza perfecta pentru "4 luni, 3 saptamani si 2 zile".

1994 The Future Sound of London - Lifeforms (Astralwerks). This album is a 90 minute sprawling ambient epic, filled with lush synths and atmospheric disguises, introducing a a new notion of space in music. Concieved as an album, rather than a collection of songs, the band announced it to be an album with no singles. The first disc is regularly cited as the stronger of the two, and rightly so. It is filled with images of vast, open landscapes. The second disc is probably the more 'organic' of the two, with double the amount of field recordings, many in the form of animal and bird sounds, and a lot more natural sounding percussion. Second Thought: "A lot of ambient albums seek to suggest places and times in their sonic imagery, with wind and rain forest sounds being some of the most used, but I've yet to hear a record so atmospheric, so alive and so ultimately real as Lifeforms. Sure, it has its imperfections, but in context of the whole experience it is easy to look past those and appreciate the full album in all its majesty". Electronica/ Ambient/ Ambient Techno.

2007 Bedroom Community. Even if you've never heard of Valgeir Siguršsson, it doesn't mean you haven't heard him. Not only was he a key producer on several of Björk post-Homogenic works, Siguršsson has shared his studio wizardry with both Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Cocorosie. What Ekvķlibrķum demonstrates best is that Valgeir Siguršsson has a true gift for realizing sonic landscapes, both fanciful and natural, with both skill and sensitivity. This debut album is a technical marvel and highly recommended for those who appreciate mixers and sequencers as much as melody and harmony. But for casual listeners, there may not be enough variety to encourage listening through to the end.

Practic , daca o melodie prinde intr-una din aceste 2 tari ... ea ajunge un hit in toata Europa in numai cateva saptamani. Producatorii din Anglia au venit in Romania special pentru Mihai si s-au intalnit cu reprezentantii artistului de la Roton. La intalnire a fost prezent , bineinteles , si Mihai . Producatorii straini au venit cu un intreg dosar, in care au schitat planul de bataie pentru promovarea lui Mihai in Marea Britanie si Irlanda.
Mihai va avea de facut cateva drumuri la Londra , unde va sta cate o saptamana pentru cursuri de : coregrafie , dictia limbii engleze ( pentru interviuri ) , va lua cateva cursuri de styling si va incepe incetul cu incetul sa se infiltreze pe piata engleza. I se va pregati un spectacol mare de lansare oficiala in Londra , unde vor veni artisti britanici si oameni din mass-media. Promovarea lui Mihai va incepe in luna mai , cand ... au considerat cu totii ... cantaretul va fi pregatit sa-i cucereasca pe " pretentiosii " britanici.

| 1996's Endtroducing... by DJ Shadow. For those looking to label this record as hip-hop, dance, jazz, jungle, ambient, funk, or rap, get ready to be frustrated. Trip-hop combines psychedelica, jazz, funk, soul, experimental, chill-out, and hip-hop music, to create what is enerally a down-tempo, moody mish-mash of genres, that, when made well, creates an often majestic effect, which is definitely the case with this album, which consists entirely of samples, put together by DJ Shadow. He breaks the boundaries between genres without question or hesitation; it's all music, and it's all good. Although some people criticize this method of making the album, this is misguided. Taking samples of other songs, and putting them together into whole new compositions, is a feat that few others, if any, could do as well as DJ Shadow does on this album, making this an essential album for the 1990s. |

| Cred ca e cel mai weird&funny serial pe care l-am vazut vreodata. Absurd tipic englezesc insa dus si el, iata ca se poate, la absurd, in niste spoof-uri ale serialelor educationale pentru elevi ale anilor optzeci, in care "germs come from Germany" si esti avertizat ca "never give a gipsy calcium". Sound designul, grafica (de The Mill) si vocea naratorului sunt exceptionale. Mai sus e un episod elocvent din prima serie (pe care o puteti vedea dintr-un click here, seria a doua insa puteti face bine s-o downloadati ilegal). Don't forget to take down notes throughout the program. |

| NU sunt din Timisoara si au reusit un lucru cel putin interesant, sa combine muzica traditionala romaneasca cu diferite influente krautrock sau psihedelice. nu sunt primii, Mircea Florian (sub monikerul Florian din Transilvania) a facut-o in sumbrii ani optzeci, dar cred ca muzicienii care l-au luat pe NU in brate alaturi de sitar au mers mai departe in astral. |

| I've begun my new year dashing the techno night-phantom and gaining my roots (just a trip back home) through a funky new/retro album from Chris Joss - Teraphonic Dubs (ESL music) 2008. Chris Joss is a French multi-instrumentalist, self-producer, and quite a success at bringing the funk. His work is very reminiscent of 60s and 70s dance, funky soundtrack music, and soul classics; where many artists would be happy to merely sample those classics, Joss creates entirely original music with all the cool and funkiness of those bygone dancefloor days.
